Brasserie Europe
THE PLAZA TABLE
Located just one floor below the Cinema-Hotel Le Plaza, Brasserie Europe is a new venue in the heart of Geneva city centre, offering elegant and creative cuisine for lunch and dinner. Open seven days a week, from 8.00 am to midnight, the brasserie boasts a sophisticated setting, extended by a terrace in fine weather. Enhanced by a vast panoramic window overlooking the crossroads, the interior is characterised by fine materials, both in the furniture and the unique accessories. Honouring the legacy of Marc J. Saugey, the FdMP architectural practice has breathed a unique spirit into this historic venue.
Located a stone’s throw from Lake Geneva and Cornavin station, it draws inspiration from the spirit of the great European brasseries to create a warm and gourmet atmosphere. Open every day of the week, this restaurant is at the heart of the future Plaza Centre Cinéma, where creativity, culture and the art of living come together. Chef Jean-Jacques Danthine reinterprets the traditions of the classic brasserie, infusing them with a more contemporary and festive touch.
Ahead of the Plaza complex’s grand opening in early 2027, the Brasserie’s launch has marked the beginning of the venue’s transformation, paving the way for the first moments of conviviality. When all the other spaces open their doors – the restored historic cinema, the immersive theatre, the bar and bookshop-café, as well as the exhibition spaces – this first-class culinary experience will further enhance the richness of the future centre. A varied programme of cultural events and activities, always linked to cinema, will make the Plaza Centre Cinema a hub where creativity, culture and the art of living come together.
